Catherine is a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and worked for many years as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Torbay Hospital in Devon. She managed patients undergoing treatment for oral cancer and ran the implant programme to rehabilitate these patients.
Catherine graduated from Glasgow University. Following hospital posts in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Catherine completed the FDS RCS (Eng) in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. She then took an MSc in Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital while working as a lecturer and tutor at the Dental school.
Catherine now runs her own specialist referral practice in Implant and Restorative Dentistry at Rumwell Hall Taunton.
Catherine continues to lecture widely on all matters related to Implant and Restorative Dentistry. Catherine acted for six years as a Trustee and Director on the Board of the Association of Dental Implantology, UK (ADI). She organized and hosted the scientific regional study group in the South west for the ADI.
Catherine hosts a charitable domain, Mouth Care in Cancer www.mouthcareincancer.com , a website providing valuable information to patients undergoing treatment for cancer and how to avoid unwanted oral complications.
Kirsty joined our team in August 2021 having previously working in general practice. Kirsty is fully trained in both surgical implant treatments and prosthodontics.
Shona attended the Bristol School of Dental Hygiene and Therapy between 2007-2009, she achieved a double diploma for Dental Hygiene and Therapy with a distinction for both her theory and practical.
Prior to this, Shona worked as a Dental nurse from 1995-2006. Shona has been working with Mrs Drysdale at Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry since 2010. She has a special interest in the treatment of complex adult periodontal disease. maintaining dental implants and tooth lightening treatments.
Kyleen is our receptionist, she has worked in Dentistry for 16 years and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Dentistry.
